Summer is here - we donate insect-friendly plants
We are celebrating our 150th anniversary this year and are also allowing social organisations and institutions to take part. The motto alternating between Hückeswagen and Moers, our second location, is "150 times ten euros".
At Königsberger Str. 12, a total of 150 bee and insect-friendly plants have been planted to brighten up St Mary's Church. Lavender, verbena and catmint as well as yarrow and grass carnation are among the plants that have been planted on around 20 square metres. We would like to thank Mrs Qajani-Strohm from the Schlösser garden centre for putting together the hardy plants, which create a colourful and beautiful overall look. We would also like to thank the volunteers and young people who helped out as part of the confirmation preparation programme.
In July, it will be our turn again.
