Animal joy at the May donation handover
We are celebrating our 150th anniversary this year and are also allowing social organisations and institutions to take part. The motto alternating between Hückeswagen and Moers, our two main locations, is "150 times ten euros".
This month, the Tierschutzverein für Remscheid und Radevormwald e.V. was delighted to receive an animal donation. The organisation has been running the animal shelter on Schwelmer Straße in Remscheid-Lennep for more than 130 years and looks after the animals. The organisation also educates people about animal welfare and supports animal protection measures. "Our most important task is to spread the idea of animal welfare and to awaken understanding for the nature and individual characteristics of animals and to promote their welfare," says Mrs Reitzig, head of the animal shelter.
The animal shelter also organises events to collect donations or draw attention to its voluntary work. We are therefore very pleased that we were able to provide a total of 100 animals with food.
Would you also like to do something good for the animal shelter? The organisation welcomes members, volunteers and other donations. Because it is only with this help that renovations and remodelling could be carried out in recent years.
The donation will be handed over again in Moers in June.
