Carbon fibres exhibit very good electrical and thermal conductance. The fibres are very strong and stiff whilst simultaneously having a low breaking elongation. Therefore, our doctor blade ACTRA ® -100 made of carbon fibre fabric with special resin system is used in the press section, especially for press rolls in contact with paper.
Due to the material the ACTRA ® -100 is also characterised by a very good cleaning effect. The fillers used also ensure a particularly long service life.
